Now this is a website that is going to cause some uproars and problems… It’s one of those things where it was previously available public information, but now it’s EASILY available public information…
Yes, with this little doodaddy of a website you can punch in any name, zip code, or address and see what a person, neighbor or fell bocanian contributed to the 2004 presidential race.
Scary… Just Scary…
The festering insides
by blackhatgk on Mar.28, 2004, under My personal dribble
Ohhhh what a nasty sickness….
Jessica, a coworker who I used to call my friend before this, got me sooooo sick. It was the nastiest sickness I’ve had in quite some time. For those of you scientific types out there it was labeled by my doctor Acute Gastronitius or something like that.. Or a sharp tummy ache or stomach flu.
For those that don’t want the details.. Stop reading now… For the rest of you.. Consider yourself warned.
It started when I got home from Disney world.. I was exhausted and was feeling very sick. I figured it was the exhaustion that was making me feel that way.. Boy was I wrong.. After finally falling asleep, I woke up an hour later running to the toilet to do the almighty prayer ritual. It had been a long time since I thrown up so I had forgotten how horrible it truly is to evacuate McDonalds from your stomach at high velocity through the hole it came in.
This continued to happen every hour on the hour for about 4 hours. I would drink some water each time so that the next time would not be a dry heave.. This is when my wife woke up and discovered my discomfort, if you want to call it that, I prefer the word HELL. She advised me that Orange GatorAid would taste better coming back up so I gave it a try. And one hour later, she was correct, it came back out smooth and tasting like orange gatoraid instead of bile like the water. This was a small comfort that I was extremely grateful for and I recommend you all follow that advice. This is where it starts getting bad though because now I was not only vomitting every hour, I had uncontrollable diahrea that kept me on the toilet two or three times an hour.
For the next 24 hours I basically spent my life either sitting on the toilet, or bowing to the toilet. Except for when I went to the doctor and he explained to me he could give me a pill, but I wouldn’t keep it down, or he could give me a suppository, but I wouldn’t keep it in so there was no hope except to hospitalize me.. Those that know me know that I don’t trust hospitals or specialists anymore so I fought that one until he came up with a magical shot… The shot stung like a mutha-fudge packer but it stopped the vomitting. And all I had to deal with was sitting on the toilet every 10 – 30 minutes.
To wrap up this long story. I’ve had nothing solid to eat except for toast and crackers since thursday and those I started eating late yesturday, and I am now back at work hoping I can make it through a day without running to the bathroom 50 times.
I did though accomplish a new high throughout this illness though.. While I was at the doctors office, I used the toilet to both vomit and pee out my ass. The latter of which was soo bad that the doctor was running up and down the halls spraying lysol and had to close down an exam room from the extreme smell…
Disney World Vacation
by blackhatgk on Mar.25, 2004, under My personal dribble
Me and Laura just got back from Disney today. She was on spring break so we went up for my three day weekend. We stayed at this great Disney Resort called Coronada Springs Resort.
On tuesday, we went to Animal Kingdom for the day and finished off at Magic Kingdom to watch SpectroMagic Parade after a short nap back at the resort.
On wednesday we proceeded to go to Epcot during the day. The mission space and test track rides were good, but they were not all that I expected. They were “Toned” down in disney’s usual way of taking a great idea but not going all out. For example, Mission Space would have been a perfect ride if it just had 1 more G of force. But with most Disney rides, they don’t go for the extra thrill so that most people can ride it.
After another short nap, we watch the Epcot Night show Illuminations after an all you can eat buffet in Germany.
On thursday, we proceeded to MGM where I rode the Tower of Terror 4 and the Rock’n Roller Coaster. Both were the two best rides I found at all of the disney parks but they were basically all there was to see at MGM. We did the Indiana Jones show and then we left.
Now I’m finally home and exhausted. but we both had a really great time.

Baby Shower Update
by blackhatgk on Mar.14, 2004, under My personal dribble
Well, the baby shower was a big hit. Everyone had alot of fun and that is evident by the fact they all stayed way longer than they wanted to. The mountains of presents pretty much set me and laura off for the next year or so. And now it’s time to get everything ready.
So far we have cleaned out the entire nursery and gotten rid of the furniture that was there and painted the room. We then put up the border and have now built the crib and finished off Matthews closet with a new organizer and paint job.
Now we just need to get the rest of furniture in place and start putting all the stuff away. Pictures of the baby shower are online in their usual place under the gallery or at: http://www.far2wise.net/gallery/baby_shower
Will post pictures of the nursery once it’s finished.
